We use evidence-based science to help individuals and organisations focus on high performance.
High performance and psychological wellbeing, much like a physical skill, can be coached. In an increasingly complex world, we face a growing number of demands on our time and energy. How do we manage to balance our health, relationships and still perform at work?
Our evidence-based coaching and consulting process is collaborative, solutions focused and results-oriented. We specialise in enhancing the performance of individuals and teams.
High performance comes when one identifies their values and consistently acts in accordance with them. As such, we focus on building clients’ capacity, connecting them to what matters, taking values aligned action and using the internal and external resources they have available.
We help clients take wider and more complex systems-based perspectives, which are highly functional, ideally suited to the real world and further enhance performance.
In order to have the best chance of success, our approach is grounded in empirically-backed science from the fields of performance psychology, cognitive science and judgement and decision making.
The evidence suggests that performance outcomes are not predicted by the presence or absence of negative thoughts. What is crucial, is the degree to which the individual can accept these internal experiences and remain engaged in their performance task.
As such, our process trains one to accept internal experiences, to stay on task despite these experiences and to maintain attentional focus on the task at hand rather than these internal states.
We offer teams and individuals advice, from beyond the start-up bubble, in developing business strategies and plans; in determining the right funding structure and investment proposition; presenting to investors; branding and marketing an idea; and how to execute to deliver growth.
The core differentiator of our advisory work is our focus on coaching individuals and teams, using empirically-backed science, with the specific aim of developing them into purpose-driven, high performers.
For many founders, including those with a few companies under their belt, it’s common to wonder what to prioritise when there’s so much you could be doing. We help sort out the “nice-to-haves” from the essentials when looking at building your team, spending your time, measuring your progress and developing your ideas and business.
We build the capacity of founders and their teams through using the internal and external resources at your disposal. For more on this, have a look at how we coach high performance.
We’ll help you augment your systems, strategies and plans and challenge and test them directly, or through our extensive partnership ecosystem including: the CEOs and boards of the largest corporates; multilateral and government leaders; and development and sustainability experts.
Running a business in a new sector can be a steep learning experience. So it’s vital that you have the appropriate measurement tools set-up to track your progress and to prepare for your next expansion or investment round.
At some point, a start-up’s success will depend on a partnership with a larger organisation or community. Either having them as a customer, supplier or later stage investor. Whichever the case, we’ve been the people you need to partner with, so know what you should expect from them and what they want to see and hear from you.
